These terms and conditions apply to both our eBay and our Amazon sites and item purchases via our website.
If you would like to find out any information about our products, prices or availability, fitting etc. then please fill out our enquiry form on the Contact Us or on the Make an Enquiry page of our website. Once we receive your enquiry via email, we will endeavour to reply to you within 1 working day.
If you would like to purchase a requested item stated in an enquiry then please contact us with your PayPal email and we will send you a PayPal invoice within 1 working day. You can send this via enquiry form, email, telephone or fax. (We only use PayPal as
a payment method on our website as we have used it for many years with eBay and found a very safe, secure way to pay for/sell items online).
We always endeavour to send the goods as soon as payment is received. During the working week, goods to be sent via the Royal Mail are usually dispatched the same day as payment received. Obviously courier companies have booking cut-off points for various areas, so if the goods are to be delivered using this method then a courier will be booked immediately on receipt of payment and telephone number and would be collected either the same day or the next working day.
If the product you are purchasing is to be delivered via a courier, please can you provide a contact telephone number as soon as possible as the courier cannot be booked without this information. The price of the courier service quoted is for mainland UK only excluding the islands and highlands. If you are outside of this area, please contact us before making payment as the price may be higher. Please note, this is not a charge added by us but the price that the courier company charges.
Goods are mainly sent 2nd class recorded post within the United Kingdom. For goods sent overseas, a price will be given for the International Signed For service.
Lost / Damaged Goods:
If, unfortunately, your goods arrive damaged or are lost in the post, please contact us at your earliest convenience to report the problem. We always try to sort out problems as soon as we can. Postage is only deemed as “lost” with the Royal Mail after 15 working days from date of posting. A full refund will be issued once the Royal Mail have completed their enquiries (which can take 30 days). For items delivered via a courier, a full refund will be issued once the courier company have completed their investigation. We do apologise for this but this procedure is necessary to cover all parties. In the case of damaged goods, once we are aware of the problem, we can then discuss the possibilities, ie. returning the goods / claiming from Royal Mail.
Unwanted items for return must be sent back in a saleable condition with any original manufacturers packaging within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us first before returning any goods. Please note that a 15% restocking charge may be applied. A refund will be issued once the goods have been received at S & N Motor Factors. Items returned as faulty will be sent back to the manufacturer for verification before a refund is issued. The customer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item is deemed to be faulty. The warranty on current stock is limited to the product only and does not cover labour, fitting, inconvenience, car hire or breakdown charges. Items sold as old stock do not carry a manufacturer warranty and any refund given will be at cost and does not cover labour, fitting, inconvenience, car hire or breakdown charges. Items sent back as incorrect for application will be refunded once the item has been received back to S & N Motor Factors in a saleable condition with all original packaging. If the error was in our listing (or the manufacturers reference book) then we will issue a full refund including return 2nd class postage. If, however, the item was bought in error, we will issue a refund (subject to 15% restocking charge) or a price can be given for the correct application. If a replacement is requested, we will waver the restocking fee. All postage charges will, though, have to be paid by the buyer.
